ABOUT ME: My name is April
Basi. I am 22 years old, 100% Nigerian (Igbo). Grew up in a small town
called Aba (Enyimba city), in Abia state Nigeria. I come from a family of 5, me
being the 2ND child. I finished high school in Nigeria in 2009
and moved to the United States for college. I finished college in Texas
in 2013 and have since then moved to Boston, MA for my doctorate degree in
pharmacy.
ABOUT THIS BLOG: This blog will circumference heavily on talent in young adult Nigerians. By talent I mean something organic, inspiring and fun. It will range from lifestyle, work ethic, challenges we face, fashion, etc. It is an idea I have nurtured in my little mind for quite sometime now. I love reading popular Nigerian blogs like Linda Ikeji, and Bella Naija, but I felt like there was no outlet for young Nigerians to be heard which was the main driving force behind this blog. Therefore, I would love to use this blog as an outlet to channel these things. It doesn't matter if you live in Nigeria or not, or if you're half Nigerian, as far as Naija dey inside (p.s I am also open open to other African countries), and you have something fun, inspiring and organic to offer I would like to feature you on this blog, so feel free to contact me on any of my social networks. The age range would be between 18-35. Also on this blog, expect to see things that I love to do like getting dressed up, travelling, books I am currently reading, and any make up products that I love to use. That will be it for now; I will be updating this as much as I can as I go through my life journey.
